| Spring and summer are the optimum times to visit the city of Venice, as the weather is warm and amazingly sunny, although really the tourist season runs throughout the whole year. Just remember the Carnival! Venice is at its busiest in July and August and its weather condition can be quite hot and humid at this time of the year, with occasional afternoon thunderstorms. Watch out for the rising waters in certain periods, but if you happen to encounter them they may make your stay a fun and unforgettable one. At the end of the high season, the mild weather often continues, and days may be warm and clear - or alternatively they can be cold, damp and cloudy. The best months for sightseeing are.……..all of them! Venice is undeniably a major-league cultural and historic city and worth a visit, whatever the time of the year and its weather forecast. |
